Yes, I've found it to be quite amusing, almost theraputic. I haven't done any drawing in a long time and after reading Little Scrowlie I kept looking at the artwork and thinking "I could probably do something like that". My original intent was to work towards the Iron Kitten idea that manifested after our email exchange, but...this is what happened...and I'm not sure it's what I wanted, but here we are.
I think I'd like to do some sort of comic based on this idea swirling in my head...the inspiration of your quip about Iron Kittens being responsible for disasters and misfortune. Added with the style of Little Scrowlie, both artistically and writing-wise. I have absolutely no idea how to go about it. The artwork is a tenative step to see what I might be capable of. As far as actual story lines...again a big blank. Maybe this all needs to stew for awhile and see what happens?
Yes, I really like Little Scrowlie...I love how it mocks the Lovecraft horror genre, which may be what you mean by the corporate gothic culture.
