Hump-Me-Gently Wednesday
So far it has been a very eldritch and surreal morning. Discussion started off on the history of search engines and then plunged into reviewing the ten year stock history of various tech companies. We then moved on the history and origin of the swastika. These last few hours have shown me what a dangerous and frightful thing the wikipedia can be.
Things got even worse after going to Gordon Keith's website. If you choose to venture there I will warn you that the links are in particularly rare form this time around. I've just finished going through them all and I'm left feeling amused, dirty and just a little ashamed to be a human being. Not bad for before 10:00 in the AM.
The link to Your Band Pic Sux was an affirmation to a long held belief of mine in that musicians walk a thin line between total absurdity and edgy cool. This site would be a testament to the fact that there are many who start down the path to trend setting stardom only to find themselves in the dustbin of forgotten insanity.
