Go Bears!
I always make sure to say I grew up "near" Waco, TX, not in it. I have no real love of Baylor University and quite frankly it's the butt of a lot of jokes, as is the town it dwells in. But, in the end the Bears are the hometown team I can't help pulling for them even when doing so is typically a fruitless endeavor. So it was with no small amount of pride that yesterday I listened, via radio, as the Lady Bears basketball team won their final four game against LSU 68-57 and are now going to the Championship game.
Congrats Lady Bears!!!
