The other day, our network admin came tromping through the office on his way to the server room. I sit directly in front of the server room and as he was about to enter he turned and showed me a memo.
Our naming convention for user IDs is the straight forward first initial, last name. One of our users whose first initial is M and last name is Yanus had requested that her network user ID be changed to something else. For some reason MYanus@whereiwork.com didn't appeal to her.
My favorite up to this point had been SLimes@whereiwork.com.
