Fallout: Wyoming 2289
It has been 212 years since the bombs fell. The remanent of humanity has been busy rebuilding civilization now that survival is no longer as fragile as it was just after.
Wyoming, never a hub of population, commerce or industry before the war was left relatively unschathed from nuclear anihilation. With a pre-war population of barely 300,000 and few natural resources left to extract the state had become a haven for survivalist groups, citizen militias, cults, and general wackos that wanted to stay out of the US Govt's direct line of sight.
Well...I found out that I'm not going to be detailing Michigan after all, but Wyoming. Which should be just as good an area to GM in as any. I'm not real sure where I want to go with it yet, but the above is pretty much what I'm thinking about right now.
